SFPO to Host Expert Family Violence Awareness Webinar

SASKATCHEWAN — The Saskatchewan Federation of Police Officers (SFPO) will host a free, confidential webinar, "Family Violence Awareness - The Latest Information," on February 12, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. This Zoom virtual event offers vital resources for law enforcement, first responders, educators, and HR professionals.

Panelists include Jen Renwick, Director of Gender Based Family Violence Prevention Services at Family Service Regina, and Crystal Giesbrecht, Ph.D., Director of Research at the Provincial Association of Transition Houses and Services of Saskatchewan (PATHS).

  • Understanding types of family violence and signs of abuse.
  • Effective communication and intervention techniques.
  • Updates on how Clare’s Law is working in Saskatchewan.
