The Saskatchewan Federation of Police Officers (SFPO) serves as the voice for more than 1,400 police personnel from six municipalities across Saskatchewan including Regina, Saskatoon, Prince Albert, Moose Jaw, Weyburn, and Estevan. While our primary role is to support and advocate for our members, we also work to foster positive communication and relationships with the public on their behalf. We believe that open dialogue and community engagement are key to enhancing trust in law enforcement and ensuring the well-being of both officers and the communities they serve.

Our Mission

SFPO is dedicated to supporting our members’ professional growth while fostering a strong sense of community within law enforcement. Our core goals include:

  • Promoting Professionalism: We elevate policing standards and support our members in reaching their career aspirations.
  • Public Engagement: By building trust through public relations and community programs, we strengthen connections between law enforcement and the public at local, provincial, and national levels.
  • Supporting Member Well-being: SFPO is committed to the intellectual and social well-being of our members, offering benefits and resources to support both their personal and professional lives.
  • Advocating for Change: We present our members’ concerns and legislative needs to elected representatives and collaborate with the Saskatchewan Police Commission on matters important to our members.

Board of Directors

The SFPO is led by a dedicated Board of Directors, comprised of members from six Saskatchewan municipalities: Regina, Saskatoon, Prince Albert, Moose Jaw, Weyburn, and Estevan, all working together to represent the interests of police personnel across the province

We Need Your Help to Make a Difference – Support Our Annual Appeal

This year marks the 17th Annual Telephone Appeal by the Saskatchewan Federation of Police Officers (SFPO), raising funds to support important community causes. Each year, we carefully evaluate the most pressing issues in our communities to determine the focus of our Crime Prevention Guide. This year, the guide will focus on Family Violence Awareness, providing essential education and resources to help prevent and address family violence across Saskatchewan.

You may receive a call from our campaign team as part of this effort. This is a legitimate appeal, and we need your help to make a difference. We are asking businesses to advertise in the publication and encouraging private citizens to contribute. Your support will allow us to distribute this guide throughout the province and further support SFPO’s community programs and activities.

SPECIAL NOTICE: The SFPO will be making phone calls to the public as part of our Annual Appeal, and these calls are legitimate. If you have any concerns or if a call feels suspicious, please reach out to the SFPO directly.

Police Associations

The Saskatchewan Federation of Police Officers proudly represents over 1,400 dedicated police personnel from six municipalities across Saskatchewan: Regina, Saskatoon, Prince Albert, Moose Jaw, Weyburn, and Estevan. We are comprised of eight police associations, including senior officer associations in Regina and Saskatoon, all working together to serve and protect our communities.

This membership wouldn’t be possible without the steadfast support of these municipalities and associations. We are incredibly grateful for the vital role they play in uniting and empowering our members. Below, we proudly display their logos.
